There is a great deal of speculation and comment in Westminster at present about the imminent report from Sir Howard Davies on the future of UK airport expansion. I have united with other Surrey MPs to highlight the deficiencies of Gatwick's case and ensure that there is no new runway built which will blight our area. At present the indicators suggest, and my personal belief is that Heathrow is the only viable option Davies can recommend - though whichever way the report goes, I will comment further at that time.
