Still no vision for Leatherhead from Mole Valley Liberal Democrats

Thursday, 11 February, 2021

Despite calls for a clear strategy on project management of Transform Leatherhead by the Conservatives and updates on progress, in particular on the engagement with local; residents, it appears that none will be forthcoming from the current Administration.

At recent Scrutiny and Council meetings, North Leatherhead Councillor Keira Vyvyan-Robinson confirmed in the public meetings that there are no financial goals or aims for the development of Leatherhead and the individual projects of Transform Leatherhead, the Swan centre, Claire and James House and Bull Hill. This means that Mole Valley District Administration will be lead by developers not by its own residents- the Conservatives want action and decisive plans to protect and enhance the town, not more large scale development with no green spaces.
